Osmolator 3155 keeps pumping

Hey guys,
I just got the 3155 yesterday and followed the instructions to place it in the sump with 2 magnets.
For testing purposes the pointed cone from the sensor completely under water.
When I urn the unit on the light "Too low" stays on and the pump keeps running full speed pumping lots of water.
Normally with the pointed cone below the water level the unit should know there is enough water in the sump and not run?

Any ideas what could be wrong or suggestions what to try?

Any news on this one yet? First time I have heard the digital sensor actually not work for this unit.
