Osmolator 3155

Hi Roger,

I have an Osmolator that I've had forever. It's probably been at least seven years. One thing that I've had a problem with over the last couple of years is the optical sensor. Fairly often, the water level will drop below the sensor but the controller doesn't react (green light is still on). If I wipe off the sensor, it usually triggers properly. Is there something that can be done to address that?

Thanks Alienz, I'll give that a try. FWIW, I have the output hose from my fresh water supply positioned to dispense water directly on the optical sensor, primarily to automatically rinse off salt creep. For the most part, the sensor always looks clean, but there is often a very thin residue on it. As thin as that is, it seems enough to fool the sensor.
