Hello Everyone,
This summer I was fortunate enough (some would argue otherwise) to spend the months of June, July and August living in one of the few remaining wildernesses on our planet.
I was conducting research involving fun things like high arctic carbon cycling and hypersaline lakes. The study site was on Melville Island at 75 degrees north in Nunavut/NWT, Canada.
I know a few people on here were interested in my pictures. Here are a few out of thousands... I'm still converting and tweaking them. It turns out taking the pictures is the easy part

100% snow cover on arrival.
The snow begins to melt and the rivers start to run again.
Endless Caribou...
100mph+ winds sustained for hours and hours.
