OT: Any divers?

just got into diving and i'm trying to find some people to go diving with sometimes. My roommate has a boat but it's pretty cold out in the Gulf still. I was planning on making some trips up to Ginnie Springs and Blue Grotto among other places in the coming weekends. Just trying to meet some other people who dive. Just went to Jupiter, FL sunday and the water in the Atlantic was nice at about 75 degrees. Anyway if you are looking for a dive buddy let me know. I'm currently signed up in an advanced and nitrox course, just waiting for the class to fill up.

Same here, i have a condo up by ginnie springs, but i would like to do some Open water dives, i've done ginnie springs numerous times.

I will dive fresh or salt....and i'm prepared to drive on the weekends to do a dive. So if we get some people involved and someone has a spot they want to do then i'm in. Not only looking for dive buddies but people to carpool with.

we really ought to schedule somehting because we ALWAYS talk about diving on the boards but i dont think too many people go through with it, i also spear fish so...yeah. I think we should arrange a dive to the tank site over by the skyway...i heard it's fun. i just wanna shoot something honestly, and perferabbly not another diver ;-)

Dive the Hudson Grotto for a scary dark cold pit of fun... its like being in outer space... fun fun... or its like diving a glass of coke with ice cubes in the top.

I need rescue but I have been in the class a few times (as the guy who gets rescued) Just need to take the stupid class for real which means paying the bucks. Then I am done with my classes. I have no desire for Cave.

well this saturday i was thinking of doing something like ginnie springs, devils den, or blue grotto, but i'll do whatever if you have good ideas. I would be leaving early morning if anyone else is interested let me know. I'm pretty new to diving, own all my gear except for tanks, and i'm just trying to log some dives. Let me know if you're interested and what spots you would like to do.

I may be interested in hitting the springs. Paradise would be a better choice from what I hear. Also if anyone has a boat grouper season open's in federal water's the 15th :thumbsup:

ginnie and devils den are both good. they have lots of caves though. we went in at ginnie anyways lol not to smart but heh. they were pretty wide lol.
