**ATTENTION DRIVERS: DON'T PUMP GAS ON FRIDAY, APRIL 15!*

* In April 1997, there was a ''gas out'' conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Because of that, gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight. On April 15th 2011, all internet users are not to go to a gas station in protest ...of high gas prices. Gas is now $4.39 a gallon in most places. If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on Friday, April 15th and let's try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day. **IF YOU AGREE, PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Move to Europe and see how much you like the prices. About 6 bucks a gallon...

Or move to Venezuela and pay 10 cents a gallon and be ruled by a communist dictator.

Maybe if we started taxing the crap of of it here like they do in Europe, people would start driving fuel efficient cars and we could stop invading third would countries to get more. Then we could... I dunno, invest the tax revenue back into the crumbling American infrastructure and mass transit systems, instead of building more bombs to get more oil?

Don't let the facts get in the way of your protest though. Big business is the devil, blah blah blah.

If we all do this, then we can't go anywhere this weekend, and the gas companies can have record profits on SATURDAY!!!:bounce1:

Is this really a good idea. You would need numbers on a mass scale. If i did not fill up today, i would just have to fill up tomorrow. Most people do not fill up by choice, they fill up when they need fuel.
