OT. computer HELP!!!

I haven't been feeling that well and been up till about 2-3 am messing with the tank since the battery incident

Go to the Task bar at the bottom of the screen and do a right click of the mouse on a open area.

You should see an option called "Task Manager" Click on it

Next in Task Manager you will see a tab marked "Performance" click on that tab.

This will bring up a small screen with a graph marked "CPU Usage"
it will also have a graph to the left of that showing the CPU usage history. If your CPU usage is running real high like 90%+ then it means you have some program running that is slowing down your computer, if the CPU usage is low like 1%-8% then the problem is most likely your internet connection.

I was the only one that didn't make it to the circus...Kiddos and wife still made it...

Tank...Well, I guess it could be worse...I lost 2 heads off of a torch, leather toadstool is doing so so, and the rest of the tank just doesn't look as nice as it has lately but overall I think it will be ok...I don't really care for the leather and the torch has a few heads left so I can't be too upset...Complaining about it won't help anything so just gotta keep going forward.

if it makes you feel any better I just lost a 160 gig HD tonight.. has all my digial pics on it too.. luckaly its not a total loss i made a dvd backup of the pics a while back. only lost the last 6 months or so.

good old western digitals.. they start clunking and its only a matter of time. my fault really for not ghosting the drive when i had a chance.

Yeah Western Digitals sucks dude, they used to have tools on thier website that might help you. You might be able to slave it into a second computer and see if it comes up at all then copy off what you can.
