OT: Fantasy Football

We've never had a buy-in or any money at all. Someone (can't remember who) started a league over at Yahoo and we played. I think there were 10 of us last year and we've been doing Fantasy Hockey/Football since '07. If whoever set it up last year doesn't respond I'll look into setting up the league this year.

As far as money goes, not sure how that would work and if everyone would be in agreement. All thoughts and ideas are welcome.
 
I'm down for whatever.

Preferably Yahoo League (makes it easier to manage with my other leagues) but whatever you guys wanna do.

PDX was his name on yahoo, I think, but I can't find his name on here. He was kinda suggesting that he might not be back if I remember correctly. Count me back in if we do it again.
 
*UPDATE*

I went into the league from last year and there was a button to send the commissioner from last year a reminder to start the league, so I clicked it. I checked back today and had an invite for the league!! So, anyone that played last year login to Yahoo and accept your invite. PDX must have received the reminder and setup the league again. Thanks PDX!!

If there are more people that wish to play I believe he can expand the league. The first year we played 20 people joined and last year we were at 10. So I don't think changing the number should be a problem.
 
I sent PDX the link to this thread. So, hopefully he'll stop in to send out the invites to all the new people looking to play. He is the only one that can do it.
 
what's up guys??! sorry i'm late, i only just started thinking about fantasy football again, and i rarely check this board since i no longer live in NY or have a reef....

The league is activated again for this season. if you played last season you should have an option to renew your team and you should have gotten an email.

if you're new, and you want to play i've opened up 2 new spots for a total of 12. i'll give the returning players a few more days to sign up, then i'll open up their spots as well. to sign up go to football.fantasysports.yahoo.com and click join custom league. league id is 610752. password is clownfish.

this league is a fun, free league, but that doesn't mean it's not competitive!!

the live draft is wed. Aug. 29th at 6:45pm eastern.

talon, if you'd like to be co-commissioner or take over, let me know.. i don't mind doing it, it's just a bit weird because i've been away from the urs community for like 2 years now...

any questions, concerns, whatever let me know!!

Sure, I can take over if you'd like. Doesn't matter to me. Probably be easier for you now that I see you have moved a couple timezones away. :D
 
Count me out if that's the draft date. Too bad. I'll be airborne at that time and don't enjoy playing when I have to autodraft. You guys have fun though and keep me in mind for next year :)
