Long time Duner...but Easter Weekend is going to be too HOT!

I Ride an '86 250R Fourtrax and an '01 CR250R Dirtbike. Usually go to Gordons with a small group of friends. Good to see other duners in the group.

Yeah it's getting hot, im done for the season.

We used to camp at Gecko most of the time, but it is getting tight and way too many kiddie tracks. Too far from the good dunes.

I think the washes are dusty.

My favorite area is down by the trees behind the vendors/beach store. It's on the trail to Olds.

If you havn't had it already, look for the woodfired pizza trailer.
It is the best pizza ever!!!

Its hard to believe but my Kawasaki dirt bike has had a flat tire for two years now and its just taking up space in my garage. There ought to be a law against that! I grew up all along the Colorado River from Havasu down to Yuma and always had bikes and buggies since the 60's. I still have my very first 1964 Honda CT-105 in my storage shed!

haven't been to any dunes yet, but our rides:

girlfriend has an 01 TJ 5" pro comp short arm lift & 33's

i'm buying a 94 cherokee 2 door, 6" long arm lift, bead locks yada yada yada. its at a friends place in cali, just need to pick it up.

I just sold my ranger prerunner, but will be building up a Tundra prerunner soon here in the future and ill be out there again. Sold my bike a couple months ago too ;( ... but by summer i think im gonna finance an 06 crf450 so by then i will definitly be crashing the reefer dune partys :beer: :beer: :bounce1: :beer: :beer:

Way to hot to go for me! Also the fifth wheel is having a little problem with delamming (sp?) basically the sides are coming off and the wind is getting in a making it worse so gotta fix it before we can take it out again.

I think I have seen some of those fires though along with some Sobe bombs. We usually stay in Ogilby but have also been in Gordons well a few times this year. It must mean I'm getting old, Ogilby gets quiet around 11pm so everyone can sleep. lol

Oh sorry forgot to mention that the hubby's bike, the bombardier is needing work and so is the golf cart since it is not running right now. AND I just upgraded the tank and really need some new stuff for it like new lights and more fish, LR, corals etc. I lost a few in the transition.

yaeh just before that obsticle i about flopped the jeep as i wasnt paying attention. my buddys and i always go out to the FJ to hit up trails out there

Westy... nice jeep. Did you do the SOA yourself or did that year come SOA? Are those stock leafs or lift kit?

I just got a cj5 and am doing work on it...

thanks sg1.025. the previous owner did the SOA. As for springs they are stock with added leafs that i put in. I want the Rubicon Express 1.5" leafs but they are pricey. In the rear i have a Ford 9" with a detroit locker, up front i have a dana 44 with a lokrite locker. Theres a big list of stuff done to the jeep ill pm you when i get home so i dont forget something on the list. I think i decided today that im going to put the jeep up for sale so if you know anyone looking for a very capable rock crawler let me know. this jeep has ran axle alley, elvis, martinez, and many other great trails. sg1.025 are you going out to the azrocks event in FJ this weekend?

well its official ive put the jeep up for sale on craigslist so if anyone knows of someone looking for a very capable trail rig let them know.
