I got caught in the thruway mess last night. I put it into 4wd and drove on the grass so I could get off at Walden Ave. I took Union Road all the way home. There were cars stuck in the road not moving and were probably abandoned shortly. I barely made it home. The thunder snow has left me with about 2.5 feet.

First off, I hope everyone is safe. Be careful out there! Secondly, send the snow my way....I'm really missing the white winterland!

Grew up on da Island, and went to school in the City. Funny to see the difference in snow fall amounts over a few miles. Had several friends in the south towns, that would get dumped on while we got nothing.

I'm in the southern end of West Seneca and I have around 20 inches of snow, and it hasn't stopped yet!

i wish we could get snow like that again. its been sveral hunting seasons now with almost no snow.

I'm up in the Tug Hill constantly during the winter. One year I was in Montague area and in 24 hours they received 6 feet of snow. So I don't miss the snow when I don't have it...lol.
