OT: Jekyll Island Club Hotel, GA

I got a chance to go down to Jekyll Island, GA last week (about an hour and half drive south of Savannah) to visit the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. I'm still getting used to my new camera (Canon Rebel XTi) and I haven't really graduated from using Auto Focus yet, but . . . I wanted to share a few pictures.

How was Jekyll Island? I'm currently stationed about 30 minutes away and been meaning to take a day trip down there. Beautiful pix btw

Its a gorgeous, nice, and relaxing place. We're having a destination wedding down there next spring.

If I remember correctly, Tybee Island is right next to Savanna, so Jekyll Island is about 1 1/2 hr drive south of there. It's half way between Savannah and Jacksonville, FL.
