OT: Koi Ponders

If any of you have a pond, I am thinking about trading (for frags - no softies please) or selling a couple of my yamabuki (yellow) ogons. There are three of these in the foreground. I have six in the 6-8" size range and am willing to part with three. These are all Japanese imports and have premium size and color potential. The larger one of the these in the left foreground is about 23" and is an example of what one would expect at 3 years, and should reach over 30" at 5 years.

Larger is better. There's alot of opinions about stocking density. Somewhere between 150-300g per fish. I think anything less than 1000g overall pond volume would be difficult to manage and give you disappointing results.

Well looks like I am out I think my pond is in the 500 gallon range. Thanks for the info. I just put my pond in a few weeks ago and love it so far
