i was bored and looking at stuff on ebay and happen to be curious about The Beatles 'Butcher album'.
why i thought of this...i have no idea.
well, i remember rifling through a used record store with my older sister in the late 70's/early 80's and stumbled on an orignal 'the butcher' album by the beatles. i even remembered the price of it being $75 or so. i thought 'what a rip...but i bet it will be worth quite a bit several years from now'. quite a bit is an understatement...i just saw an ebay 'buy it now' price of $6,680!!!:eek1:

in a poster store i was going to get an original luke skywalker 'revenge of the jedi' poster for $35. this one i saw on ebay for only $200. whew on that one!!! but this is not the same one as i remember in the store...it had luke lunging with his light saber.
ah, the high price of yesteryear memorbellia...
