OT: Need a 50 gallon plastic barrel

I'm looking for a 50 gallon plastic barrel locally that hasn't had any caustic, poisonous, or otherwise nasty chemicals in it. Basically, I'm looking to make a composter for the backyard to finish off some of the stuff in my pile and get some really good soil out of it. I was hoping to find something cheap or free since I don't really NEED it and they are not all that cheap to buy new.

I know reefers use these a lot, so I figured someone on here might have a line on one. It does not really need to be reef safe, but I don't want it to have contained anything I wouldn't want to put in soil for a garden. Ideas?

There is a barrel place out the west end that sells food containers in that size cheap. Might have had syrup, cooking grease, or even macadamia nuts in them originally. If you search for nashville and barrels they come up. They were cheap too if you don;t mind the drive.

i have (2) of those 32g rubbermaid style trash cans i bought to use for fresh & saltwater mixing that i don't really need now, if ya want em

James, thanks for the offer on the cans, but I'm looking for something a bit bigger and that I can turn on its side for easy mixing of water and air to make the compost faster. There's so much stuff in the pile we have now that I can't hardly turn it over very easy and I for sure have to be able to get all of the magnolia leaves up or they'll kill the crap out of the grass (even if I mulch them... since we have one of the biggest magnolias I have ever seen... it is bigger across than our house).

metro nashville public works sells an Earth Machine composter that is a black plastic backyard composter that I have been using well for years; they run about $40 from the Metro Public Works Connivence Center on Omohundro Drive

There is a lady that lives in whitehouse on craigslist that sells them for 10 bucks. Also they only previously had a salt solution for food processing in them. Message me for her phone number.

I got some at Rural King in Clarksville for $10 I think. They used to have some cleaners from a car wash I think in them so they would need to be washed out really well if you got those. I used them on my pond so I had plenty of water volume if there was any residue left in them.
