I found out at the last minute about a show at the social by the band Carbon/Silicone, who happen to be Mick Jones from the Clash and Tony James from Generation X. Went down and after the show they hung out and signed stuff and took pictures.

for those that dont know, the clash are considered on of the top 100 bands of all time but also considered this to be one of the best album covers of all time. I got my copy of london calling given to me by a friend in 1988 that he got at a thrift store for $.50, I called him the next day to tell him about it!

Wow dude. You were graced to hang out with a couple true pioneers of alt/punk rock. I grew up listening to that kind of music and I have to say, your a lucky man.

I felt super lucky to catch P.I.L. in the late '90's, which for those not familiar with the band had John "Johnny Rotten" Lydon from the Sex Pistols as the front man. That was kinda on of my bucket list to see Johnny Rotten.
And I heard the the Sex Pistols reunited and did a show in London not long ago. OMG I would have loved to have seen that!
