I checked the list and don't find anything in the Naperville area. Anyone?

Why OT you ask? Because it's not for a calcium reactor. It's for my new kegerator :D

No swap...I just bought a brand new shiny silver cylinder...no way I'm exchanging this bad boy.

Phil, do they do refills or swaps only?

Airgas was a bottle exchange. Tri-state will fill your tank, but the CO2 is for fire extinguishers. Not sure if it is suitable for food/beverage use or not.

(did you get a chance to look for a itty bitty mag pump for me?)

I go to Aurora Beverage. $10 refill for 5lb tank.
They are a couple minutes west of the old Aurora Drive-in now plowed over/ Phillips golf course. Just stay on Montgomery.

they have never swapped mine, they refill while you wait, it's ice cold when done, and still had the salt residue on the bottom.

I don't and wont go to Airgas, they didn't even want the business told me they don't mess with tanks that small, and were just plane rude.

szgppl, that's too bad. I've been to two different Airgas locations and they have been very polite, and helpful and cheap. The guy at Tri-State was cool too.

I haven't been to Aurora Beverage, but I have to think that would be where you could get the high purity CO2.

Thanks....I know where I'm headed tomorrow. :D

They don't really have a sign out front, it's across from the gas station, and part of the building is another business, lots of trucks in the parking lot.

Aurora Beverage is the place to go, I've been there several times. You might have a hard time finding the entrance door the first time, but after that, it's ok. Not sure how pure their CO2 is but it's fine for my planted tank.

Is the address posted in the CO2 sticky thread?
