Originally posted by Kent E Downset, the name pales in comparison to your avatar. Is it possible to explain it?
There's a Chemical Brothers video featuring Canadian artist K-Os comprised of dubbed over and "enhanced" from older martial arts videos...
Song is just eh, the video is suuper.
Anyway, I think of that every time I see downset's avatar. heh
Don't know why I am posting this(Must be the copeius amounts of beer consumed this eve) but it reminds me of how I was disappointed that Pai Mae was not featured more in the movie....Don't know about the rest of you but this Tarrantino fan thought that the "Cruel tutoledge of Pai Mae" was the best chapter in Kill Bill.....Way OT but I thought it was woth mentioning....Yeah I know I am weird...If you think this is bad bring up StarWars.
OK, guess I should post on this thread. When I first started using email I was under the impression that it was better to be anonymous than to have your real name be your screen name. I have to say, I still feel that's more secure to leave out your last name.
So, my name comes from a combination of Sherlock Holmes and his rival Professor James Moriarty. I'm actually not a big fan of the stories but I remember seeing a TV version of their final battle when I was a kid and really liking the way Holmes could only defeat Moriarty by causing his own death. I also really like the ying yang kind of thing going on between the two characters. The author brought Holmes back from the dead awhile later due to fan demand, so that is not a new to our times .
I also like that it could be a real name. So it might make a person think, where is that guy from? I use it for everything from Yahoo to Myspace but have started using a new screen name that includes my first name. So, pretty dorky huh?
