OT: xbox 360 + urge

I don't know if any of you have a 360, but last night I was ripping all my CDs to my computer and messing around with MTVs online music system that is integrated into Windows Media Player.

OMG my house is a night club now, I am not joking! So URGE is driven my MTV and Microsoft I think (urge.com) and they have a ton of music. And for $15 a month you get all the music you want to download. Well I could go on an on about everything they have going on, but the most important thing is that it integrates straight into your Windows Media Player, so all those songs go straight into your library.

Or you could just get the music streaming to your media player from the Internet and not download it. But you do not own the music, so you can not burn it to CD, you have to pay 99 cents for each song to do that. But now a days everyone has a MP3 Player, and certain players sync up with the media player and the songs will move over to that. And most cars today have a hookup for your MP3 player, so who needs to burn a CD when you have GIGS of MP3s on your portable player that you can just hook up to your car system?

Well anyway, on to the xbox 360. I have the xbox on the network with my computers, and I check one box on the computer and it shares my files out, and then I select to share it with the xbox. Then on the xbox I select the computer I want it to read music from and CHA CHING, my house is bumping cause the xbox hooks right up to the home system.

Its just sick, and I think my fish are going *** now.

yeah, I have hooked my iPod to my 360 to listen to tunes while playing PGR3. I have a mac mini hooked up to my receiver upstairs, and outdoor speakers wired to it so I can listen to music outside in the summer time.
