You guys shouldn't have. I appreciate it though. How did you all get together and send me tornados for christmas lol. We had tornados all over the place yesterday. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside lol. Just like being home for the holidays lol. Lots of trees and power lines down but nobody injured. I couldn't have asked for a better present.
I think Paul's Gulf reef has changed the weather paterns down this way due to the salt air and humidity it puts into the atmosphere.

it was the least we could do to make you feel at home for christmas. we'll see if we can send you some snow for new years....lol

Already had snow this year. It was the first time it snowed here since 1987. They never have tornados here either. I keep trying to explain to people here why tornados are worse than hurricanes, Due to hurricanes having a week or more warning, and tornados having 10 seconds warning lol. Now they know. We don't have any type of storm warning system here like the sirens in OKC, so you know when your roof comes off that you may need to take shelter lol.

Now were these "REAL" tornados or wannabe's? I lived in Arizona pretty much my whole life and they had a tornado a few years back, took down a fence....and that's it. People were so scared, thought the world was going to end and everything. I saw that thing and said "it's a big dust devil, not a tornado" But I guess it did enough damage to warrant tornado status.

But we're glad you enjoyed the present. It wasn't easy getting them all the way there but we do what we can.

They were actually real ones lol. F2 is what the national weather service people said. Not huge, but they did real damage. There were tons of huge trees down, and 100 mobile homes leveled in one park. There is about a 45 mile path of damage from about 5 miles east of my house all the way to Daytona.

It would take an F5 to even scratch my house lol. My house was built in1957 by the person i bought it from in 2004. It has 12 inch thick cement walls reinforced with rebar. Even the interior walls are 12 inch cement. The rafters in the roof are more like beams then boards. At best a tornado might tear down the 60ft tall oak tree in the front yard and drop it on the house since it has nothing but sand to hold on to lol.

I have been to Duggs home. It is a fortress.

BTW we were just having a discusion about tornados while I was there a couple of weeks ago...
