After seeing all the great pics that folks have been posting as of late, and not having posted any myself for a while, I wanted to share some of my recent shots and get some feedback on them. I've been working with a new camera body and must say that I have been very impressed with it so far. Still have a LOT to learn about all its features though.

The following shots were taken at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. All pics have been cropped and resized but otherwise not altered.

These shots were taken with a Nikon D200 using an 80-200mm f/2.8 ED AF-D lens.

very nice pictures! Some of them the saturation looks a bit low. If there was a slightly better contrast and a bit more saturation, those pictures would jump out a lot more then they already do.

what are your settings you're shooting at?

I was running at ISO 200 for most of the day. Not sure without checking the EXIF info for the rest of the settings. For a lot of these I was letting the camera "do its thing" just to see what it would do. I was also using matrix metering for the exposures versus spot metering.
