Our new GBTA!

Here's an update... He has firmly wedged himself in the crevice and is bubbley! I fed him two small chunks of shrimp and quickly devoured those. I really really hope he stays here, it's where I had always envisioned him parking!

I hope you don't mind, but I took your picture and was able to pull a little of the red and blue out of it. Does this look a little closer to the real thing?

Yes closer hut it is amazing in person... it hss been inflated through the night hours and is amazing looking..

Beautiful GBTA! Can we see a picture in full lighting? It looks like all these were taken under actinic so it's hard to tell if it's bleached or not and how much. Glad your's has moved to the "primo real estate" ... not all of us are that fortunate!

Yours looks great. Glad to see he moved to a premo spot.
Mine refusses to move. He likes his hidding spot. He has good flow low light and plenty of food. so he's happy.

Hay I live in Gurnee IL, can I get a frag some time, once I get my tank set up?

Sorry but can't just frag him.. Whenever he decides to split, there is already a waiting list but I'll keep you in mind.

That picture is taken under full light, my LEDs have royal blue, violet, and whites, so my camera doesn't handle it so well.. it looks very much different in person... sorry!

We did get lucky. I fed him for the first time after he moved to encourage this location... It's awesome!!

Did it keep it's coloration?

The majority of it yes... Parts of the tentacles (the base of each one) are darker, and the tips are neon green still. It looks really cool, but when you take a look at it, the overall color is still the neon green.

It doesn't bubble anymore though, but a real neat GBTA none the less.

actually, you can! it's easy. you slice and dice him into 4 pieces. for greatest success, you want a piece of the mouth in each piece.
