Over Run with Anthelia

May not be the forum to post in, but my tank is completely over run with soft corals to the detriment of all others. Main culprit is anthelia. Main tank is 320 so not a simple thing to get rid of. Was thinking of taking the corals out that I like and running the tank with the lights out for a month with the fish still in it. Has anyone ever tried this? Seems a bit radical but would like to have a different look. Traded a bunch to LFS sat. Barely made a dent.
Thanks

That depends. Do you want a tank crash? :D

All you need is a razor blade, you don't have to make a simple problem into a complicated one.

Anthelia should come with a disclaimer. Plan to contact a local reef club to see if anyone wants some. Wonder if Fluke Tabs are a more reasonable idea. Still sounds like some potential disadvantages.

Anthella is like the plague I used to use a tooth brush on it but it started popping up everywhere! I've heard fluke tabs would work but in such big tank i'd be nervous

Found a source for Fluke Tabs but not sure I have the nerve to try it. The clowns would loose their home as well. Was just trimming out a bucket full tonight. At least its a nutrient export. Downside was I knocked the bucket over on my rug. The smell is awesome!

At this time, just stuck on some large rocks. I plan to drop some frag rocks in to make it easier to export. Hardly seems worth it for you but can revisit. Have been cleaning ricordia out as well.
