So I decided to try and build a system to support ozone use in my current FOWLR. I studied the designs of the new reactors that have been introduced to the market and they all seem overly complicated. So I wanted to run my intended plan to run ozone through two left over reactors I have. I need some feedback and want to know if my intended design is over simplifying the process.
First I bought the newer venturi version of the Mag 5. I intend on feeding my Ozonizer, on a controller, through the pump's venturi into the first MRC reactor filled with either bio-balls or the shredded pvc bio-bale. Then the ozonized water will feed into a second GEO reactor filled with carbon. The carbon reactor will then feed directly into my skimmer. I also intend on putting carbon on top of the skimmer in order to catch any left over ozone.
So will this system be adequate?
