:furious:
I went to put some more pellets in my Neptune AFS. I hate the way the drum doesn't come out without taking the cap off. I tried to get the drum out and ended up popping the top off instead directly over the tank where it is suspended. I had about 2 weeks worth of pellets in the tank. This kind of thing only happens when I don't really have time to deal with it... What I did do was try to scoop out some before they sank. Then I got a hose and a filter sock and tried sucking up the ones that came to rest on the rocks and sand. I didn't do a water change I just let the water run back into the sump through the sock. After all this I turned on the RO/DI filter to make a batch of fresh SW because I figure now I will have to do an unscheduled W/C when I get home today.:thumbdown
My question to you all is what would you have done in this situation? What should I have done differently or what should I do when I go home tonight?
