Overflow box or not

Hi all not sure if the right section or not.
Just set up a 6x2x2 tank with sump. Was a second hand tank but didn't check the tank when I got it. (Stupid move) got it home and it was scratched. Turned the tank around and all good. But problem I got now is the drain and return line is on the front 2 corners of the tank. Would love to hide them some how.

Is it worth capping the holes in the bottom of the tank and drilling new holes in the side of the tank and installing a overflow box? Or anyone have some more ideas? Currently finding it hard to get enough flow into the sump with the 32mm drain. Have turned the pump right down. Been looking at making the return line into a drain as well. But wanted to see how to hide the pipes first.

Cheers
Justin

Yer scratches was on the front of the tank. Now turned the tank around and they r now at the back. Can't see them now. But now have my drain and return lines at the front of the tank as in the picture

Yes, I would either drain the tank and cover the front holes with glass, or cap them off somehow if you are not completely draining it (starting underneath?), and then, if drained, drill the back for an overflow (best option: see Synergy Reef or Eshopps for boxes), or if not draining it, use an overflow box (second best option: see LifeReef or Eshopps).

Good luck...
