there was a thread where a guy built his own overflow box's with like 6 inch pvc, can anyone help me find the thread... i'm looking to do the same thing

How are your overflows working for you?

Only issue is that I didn't make the weirs wide enough. Other than that, it's silent and works fine. But you have to work with what you have, and I only had a dremel tool. A router with a wider bit would be better.

No, I would have made the weirs wider (the space between the teeth)

I thought they had made that a sticky in the New to Hobby forum. I found it a bit late but think it would be a good sticky again.
