Oyster and FW dip?

Hi there,

I just got a couple new zoo colonies and they are currently in the QT.

Soon after putting them in QT, I found a nudibranch on one. The other colony looks like something may have been picking at a few polyps.

So, tomorrow I will be starting a regimen of FW dips with lugol's to remove the parasites before they go into the display.

My only concern is that one of the colonies contains two clams (look like oysters or something) attached. Will they be fine throughout the FW dip? The dip will be 5 minutes.

I say they will be fine ..At low tide it rains and they just close up..same as yours..Well they close up at low tide any ways ..but i hope you see what im saying

yeah, makes sense. I figured they should be able to close up tight.
