P. randalli or P. pulcherrimus

Purchased this guy as a P. randalli although I believe it may be a P. pulcherrimus. I'm looking to add some females now, so I would like to get a more positive ID. I've seen some pictures where the males look so different between the species, and then I've found some pictures on the web that look like pulcherrimus to me labeled as randalli. I've managed to get myself completely confused

The randall's I've seen have always been very very red, so I'd guess pulcherrimus from this one pic.

I'm leaning towards pulcherrimus as well, but it's definitely not the best pic. I'm going to try and get a better one in the next couple days. I would definitely appreciate your input again, if/when that happens.
