Has anyone ever thought about painting old live rock to give their tanks some additional color?
I saw the artificial product and it is very expensive. What might be used to paint the rock and not endanger the tank chemistry?
As to the question, there may well be a reef-safe paint out there - others may have the name for you. The colors will eventually get covered over with coraline algae, though.
