Painting Spraybars

I am making some vertical spraybars for my 45 gallon tank. My question is, can I paint the pvc with black spray paint without endangering my livestock?

Is standard spray paint safe for inside the tank?

Krylon Fusion brand will stick to PVC.

No one will give you a guarantee that it is reef safe, but a few people, myself included, have submerged pvc that has been painted with it. If you don't want to take the risk, you can order black PVC from savko.com.
