Painting stand

Cruising the paint aisle yesterday and saw the Rustoleum LeakSeal. Used it on the bottom 4" of the inside of my new stand. I was a little worried that it would dry too "rubbery" but it dries just like paint. The joints are all really tight, so I did not caulk them. The LeakSeal did a nice job sealing them up. I still need another coat to make it look nice and uniform, but overall really pleased with the product.

Not familiar with Leak Seal, but I would recommend using a pond liner either instead of or in addition to a waterproof paint. It will be much less susceptible to cracking at corners and wood joints.
