So I think I *might* just have a pair of tailspot blennies (Ecsenius stigmatura) here. I've been reading through this forum searching for "pair", and it seems about once a year somebody asks whether this can be done.
I picked out the two blennies from a LFS tank which contained three blennies. There was the biggest one, who occupied the only rock in the tank and allowed one of the two smaller blennies to come peck at the algae on it. The biggest blenny had also apparently banished the other smaller blenny to a far corner. I guessed that, even though they were very young fish, they were probably a male and a female. I put them into my 150g tank; they were the first fish to be added. Now the big one occupies the biggest rock while the small one lives in my "rubble zone". They hang out together a great deal. I've always wanted to find a pair of tailspot blennies (or a pair of Midas blennies); here are some pictures.
EDIT/ADD: Gosh, now that I look at the pics I realize how awful they are. I'll try and get some more tonight or tomorrow.
