Pairing time advice / opinions

Have a pair of lightning clowns ( photos in other thread here). One about 50% larger than the other.

Behavior right now:

Larger one roams the tank - but keeps the smaller one in the very top front corner of the tank. When the larger one approaches the smaller - the smaller will roll slightly and shake (showing submission I believe). As long as it happens in the top corner of the tank the larger one will not attack - they will actually rub together etc.

However, if the smaller guy wanders more than a few inches from that corner the larger one will attack him until he goes back to the corner.

Been in the tank for about 1 week so far.

Both eat anything I throw in the tank, no anemone (tank not ready) but do have about a 4" Duncan nobody is showing interest in.

Any thoughts on how long to let the little guy be bullied into that corner? I could separate them but I really would rather not - the overall health of both is the main concern.

^yup. My blood oranges are still doing stuff like this 6 weeks later. (Half maroon half ocellaris) and believe me, my Female is all maroon but her color
