The other day I all of the paly's in the same colony started expelling something from their mouths. It was about the same size and shape of pellet food and was wrapped in some slimy stringy brown stuff. It just floated away. Anyone know what this is? Is it waste? zooxanthalae? I even saw something somewhere about this being spores? I thought they reproduce by budding.
Interesting thing was that they all did it at the same time. Also, after the event, they are all darker in color, which leads me to believe it was zooxanthalae? Does this mean something is wrong? Other than that they seem fine.
