Pan World Pumps Good/Bad?

I want to get a Pan World 200PS-MD70R External Water Pump - 1750gph

or

PanWorld 250PS-MD100R External Water Pump - 1900gph

I'm leaning towards the 200ps because it uses 290W compared to the 390W for an additional 150gph.This will sit about 6" below my tank just above my sump running my closed loop system. I have a mag 12 there right now which is ok but I need a bit more flow and a bit more pressure. This pump seems to be ideal.

IS THIS THING TOO LOUD TO BE IN THE LIVING ROOM UNDER MY TANK !?!?

These are good and dependable pumps, very similar to Iwaki. I think even designed by one of there engineers. They seem to be quieter than the Iwaki's as well, but a big external pump like that is going to make some noise. Definately more than you are used to with your mag drive.

I just went over to Lisa's (saltyunderground) house where she is running the exact pump I want. It seems like the pan world is making less noise but has a bit of a hum which in my mind is a better noise. I will order the new pump today.
