So I had a good conversation with Paul lastnight about lighting. He had a great idea to take some measurements of where I'm having the most growth for my corals. It would be neat to see the different amounts of light that other people are having where they have the most growth. Now I know everybody's tank and corals are different but for the sake of the conversation let's just go with the par reading. Here's what I have in my tank. I have four 48" T5 bulbs "current USA " three are actinic plus and one is the aqua blue 60/40 white. Also have two 36" T5 bulbs that are both actinic plus My tank is a 100 gallon bow front made by DAP. So here was my readings where my corals have had the best growth
Monti caps. 120 range
Birdsnest. 95 - 120
Zoanthids. 60 - 95
Softies. 60- 80
