Oh yeah, never considered it to not be
I was searching aquarium products so presumed it would be

It measure LUX and not PAR - waterproof or not, it would be of limited use for comparing your lights to other people's readings.

I bought this one from Amazon and it seems pretty good. The sensor is waterproof and comes with a nice solid telescopic pole.
