Ok so I've had a regal angel in a 20 gallon qt that has life rock in it for grazing for about 3 weeks, and He eats pellets very aggressively but on the 3rd day I had him and he started to come out in the open more i noticed that he had white dots on his side. Not like ich spots but a pretty large white spot and it looks like it is underneath his scale like attacked to him. He has 1 on 1 side and like 2 on the other side. I have left it alone assuming that maybe It was just scale damage from collection or shipping but it would have healed by now so i Now believe it is some kind of parasitic Copepod but I really don't know so I come to you guys for help identifying this and the treatment that u would suggest

Pictures are not definitive but appear to be lymphocystis. If they are, they will persist on the fish for longer than a week and are not serious.

In person it doesent look like lympho but I could be wrong. I will attempt to get pictures with my actual camera rather then my iPhone

The test will be persistence. If it persists beyond a week, it is not cryptocaryon irritans.
