OK, my female clown is looking better with maracyn2 hospital and ad her first formalin dip yesterday along with a freshwater dip.
The "lesion" or parasite on her looks like it is gone and the line along her back is much less apparent.
However; one of her tankmates, a coral beauty, looks bad now. I guess it isn't going to be easy to get this tank healthy again....
I now think it is an external parasite and hope that a freshwater dip will get rid of them. Even if I do get them to drop in a freshwater dip I don't have anything like the number of hospital tanks to be able to get everyone out of the tank to let it sit fallow. If I don't go out and buy a few more hospital tanks am I just inviting a re-infestation if they fish go right back in the tank?
Here is a picture of the coral beauty.
Those are spirulina flakes and he is still eating aggressively. Only the spots I've circled are on him, the rest are on the glass.
