Wow!!! 3 people? You guys are overachieving. It just takes a couple of minutes to put up a post. IMO this is why Groups/Meeting don’t work in ABQ. Peep are just not willing to participate. There is no such thing as a dumb question. Trust me, I know they are out there. I have hung out at Southwest Reef Co and Clarks. I know there are plenty of questions out there or you can just start a discussion. I will try and put up some questions/discussion and we will see how it goes.

seesick, it won't ever matter how many threads you start or what they are about. There will always be way more lookers that will never post on the thread than there will be ppl that do. It is aggravating when you look at say a couple hundred views and half a dozen replies, i know exactly what you are saying here, i have always noticed it.
We have the same thing over at STARS club forum and we actually have good turn outs for meetings but the online participation is not that great. After talking to several regular members of STARS that always seem to make it to the meetings I have found that the reason a lot of them don't post is not because they don't have anything to say but rather because they are afraid of the keyboard and unsure of how to put what they are thinking on the screen, can't spell or punctuate so they never post. I am not so good at it myself but I do it just the same.
Another reason you get a lot of views compared to replies is that a lot of people from other states subscribe to a thread and they are only readers because they are learning from the thread and have nothing to add. I could go on and on why it happens but I think you get it. Don't let it bother you, I use to but finally got over it.
Then you get guys like me that never shut up LOL

seesick, STARS stands for Southwest Tank And Reef Society. I can only speak for myself as to how the reefing is going down this way, My system is doing good at this time. I am pretty sure most of the others in this area are having good success as well.
Without an official count I am going to say we have 15 or so members that are active but we can have 15 to 30 people at meetings. It is the same thing there are always more ppl that attend the meetings than what post here at RC.
STARS has a club forum here on RC, look for it in the southwest section. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=629 We also have a website but it has been in need of being updated for some time. www.starsreefclub.com Check it out and please feel free to come post on our forum anytime. There are already several of the ppl up there that do.
