Parts

I've spoken with a customer service rep and I was told that you guys are no longer making parts for the older mp60's?

If you already spoke to a customer service rep at ETM, why are you asking here?
Don't you believe what you were told?

Which part are you after? I recently tried to get a wet side frame and was forced to buy an entire wetside (although given at a discount).

Only piece they have is a wet side and who knows how long that will be the case. Probably just gonna end up switching to gyre. I'm very disappointed with ecotech.

I asked their tech support about this directly and they stated all of the parts on their web page are still available. I'm not seeing any shortages, it sounds like there is a misunderstanding in here somewhere.

Not so much done as a percent. The LFS had told me a price for a wet side frame only, and supposedly confirmed availability. When the order arrived they were told they only sell the full wet side, not just the frame. The result was the LFS charged me the price I was originally quoted due to the mixup.

Will they have parts for my three year old MP60s??? Hope it is Ok to add my situation here as I am trying to make a decision on repairing or is it better to look for a more powerful alternative for my 700g system with 500g DT that is 11 feet long.... My situation:: MP60s failing. I have four MP60s on my 700g system and a spare. Have been satisfied with their performance so far... One of the four in the DT (wet side cleaned about a month or so ago) stopped working and light flashes red/green . So I used one that I had on standby a brand new spare that burned out, shorted after two weeks of use. I had it new since 3 yrs on standby... Ecotech Marine suggested that I send both for repairs or buy parts on my own. They say "would need the dry side motor, as well as a driver for the pump that shorted out" and no info given on the other pump... Before I go and send mine for repairs, any suggestion on a less expensive but powerful alternate pump that I can use with Neptune-Apex... I also have two echotech marine battery backups and one has apparently stopped working as well... Also any ideas on how much they would charge for repairs would be helpful in deciding

I went ahead and supplemented my flow with gyre 280. Bought two with one controller. Figured to try and see if they last longer than the MP60s and if they have more diversity or not... MPs are not cheap to go bad on us . At some point I will probably bite the bullet and fix the MP60s if the price is reasonable for a fix.. Thanks

I just sent in an old MP40 for repair and was very happy with the $60 including shipping they charged me to repair it. Just send it in would be my advice, worst case scenario you are out the $15 for shipping it to them and if they quote some crazy price tell them to trash it. However I would be shocked if they can't find a solution that is much cheaper than a new pump.

Thanks for the advice Shawn, as of today I got a third out of my five pumps flashing red and green. So only two are working Am glad I have the two gyres but I need more flow for sure. SO I will go for sending my MPs/ Thanks Sean
