Hey Guys,

Just wondering if there's anyone out there with this model of unit?

I'm thinking of purchasing the 10 x 39w unit and would like to see peoples tanks currently running with them.

Any photo's would be greatly appreciated.

Had my 8x80w for two weeks, initial impressions are pretty good light, easy to program, performance I measure PAR at Powermodule level, down side is the fans arent very quiet you will hear them when the light is on.

Hey Rodney,
Thankx for feedback . I wonder why PS can't use same fans what ATI uses, ATI fans are dead silent.. Are they really that loud?

Mike

You can definately hear them but they arent that bad, but in an honest review its something to consider. A cheap jeabo powerhead is louder...

Yep they have a sheet of splash protection, better than the ATI IMO because it slides into a bracket from both ends of the light and no sagging like the ATIs do. You can turn the tubes on in banks of two aswell.

I've went a head and bought one as well as PS T5 lamps to go with it.

I'll post pictures when it arrives :)

Have you purchase a unit from PS USA?
I got email stating that they do not sale 10x60w and have to contact manufacture directly .

Hey,

I'm UK based. They're being shipped from Poland

Coming on three months with mine, ran the PS tubes that came with it for 6-8 weeks (cant remember exactly) but dumped them for ATI tubes :)

Still happy with the light, performing strong, looks great and hasnt missed a beat. Turning tubes on in banks of 2 is awesome compared to other T5 units.
