password problem

Well i had a freind come over and help me set up my Ac and it works awsome but i when i came back to change a setting it asked for a password. Me or my freind dont recall installing putting one in but im sure i might of accidentally clicked a number or something and now im locked out. Is there anything i can do besides unplugging the battery and power? Im still alittle new to the language so i prefer a simple way out.

You must have enabled the display lock in control & status -> display lock. The default password is lower case 'xyz'. If that doesn't work then you'll have to power cycle the controller (remove the 9V battery and ac adapter at the same time). You'll only have to set the time after the power cycle; all other configuration settings will be unchanged.
