Just hang a couple of them puffy bath balls on it and call it a modern art bath sculpture. Who knows, in 100 years they could be all the rage, people could praise your bold style and innovative approach, and rich people could be selling some plastic for millions... or your guests will just think you've gone off your rocker and then you'll be able to turn the whole bathroom into a fish room. Win/win situation in my book.
