just looking for feedback ... i have heard people say certain corals 'can't' be kept under power compact lights ... is that true and which are they?

probably, depending on watts per gallon, SPS in general and some demanding LPS, though im not quite sure how to single them out

I have things like trumpet and frogspawn doing fine under pc lights in my aquapod. hope this helps

If you have enough PC light (I have 130 wts on my 25) then you can keep any LPS. I have some Montipora in my tank that shows its true coloration and grows very fast ... just keep it near the top.

I have pc and currently have lps and softies growing very nicely I haven't tried any sps though.

Yep, I had lords under 4x65 pc in my 54 corner (it is a tall tank) And they did fine, until I added glass tops to the tank, then too little light penetrated for them. They now live under a mH.
