What will clean purple primer and red lettering from pvc pipe???

I would try some 400 grit sandpaper. Then you don't have to worry about any chemicals hurting your livestock and it won't remove much material either.

The regular PVC Cleaner will take off the lettering, I'm not sure about the purple primer.

Acetone works on the red and black lettering. But I’ve never tried it on the purple primer.

Had a busy week. I bought PVC cleaner and acetone. I'll try it in the morning.

Acetone will remove the red letters. Neither will remove the purple primer. I think I'll just leave it.
