Hi! From my knowledge, Mantis will not bother your corals except for moving them around etc. They like to re-decorate, & yes, the more delicate species of coral can break. (mostly SPS)
Not good if you wanted something in a specific place or if again it is really delicate. Other then that, I do not believe there is much to be concerned with!

I keep an O. scyllarus in a 60g reef tank and a G.smithii in an 8g reef tank. Strictly speaking, yes coral safe. However i think that coral color and proximity to the burrow might play a role. The only coral my mantis ever hit and broke was my green monti cap (no really major damage though) that was a couple inches from the opening of his burrow. everything else has been left alone.
Here's some main things to remember: attach coral to large pieces of rock. preferably at least as large as the mantis itself. Make sure your rock structure is pretty stable. Consider the lighting; some, like O. scyllarus, can get shell disease with strong lighting whereas some like G. smithii are intertidal and can take whatever you throw at them. no CUC except cheap pieces you wont be sorry to lose. I avoid large hermits or crabs because they can injure a mantis. smaller mantids can't handle the thicker shelled inverts.
