I just picked up a peacock at the LFS.
Has eggs.
Not eating (normal?).
In a 20g (big enough?).
No time right now to write...headed oout to see USA destroy Mexico in Futbol.

pics! it may have eggs but you'll need divine intervention to get them grown into adults. just look at the eggs as food for whatever else is in the tank.

It's probably not eating because it has just been moved around. turn off the lights, stop checking up on it every five minutes for 24hours. it just needs some downtime.

20gal might do it, but i would not do it myself. listed minimum is 25gal, but i would go to 30 or more personally. note that large peacocks have the ability to smash glass so ideally acrylic tank would be best although you could get away with thick glass. If it's just a standard aquarium glass, then definitely line the bottom of the tank with strips of acrylic.
