Pectinia Coral

Its not really in low light... My pagoda got a build up of sand in a crevice and it is dying... I may put my pectinia where my pagoda was under my ledge. When I got it, it had about 4 mouhs, now it has 8. Its been a little over a month.

I'm told pectinia likes low light. did you move yours to a place with high light slowly or did you just place it there when you first got it?

I put it under a 175 and I'm sad to report it just up and completely died a few days ago.
There may be a bit of flesh left.:(

John, don't give up on it. if there's flesh, it can come back.. put it under shade.. under a ledge like code1 mentioned.

I'm sure you can save it again! I haven't moved mine under a overhang yet. I'm trying to see if I can save a pagoda or not. Ill post a new pic of mine, Its got all of its color back now, sometimes it will get really skinny and sometimes it will be super puffy. Sometimes I have seen black stuff come out of their mouths but I have no idea what it is doing at all! I have see a few tentacles on it, but not much and not super long ones. But It does eat brine shrimp during the day and its mouths open really big and engulf the brine shrimp.
