Pencil urchin and aggressive fish: compatible?

You will have to avoid keeping "Triggers" and "Arothrons", as they will consider the Pencil Urchin a great delicacy!

Don't mix the urchin with a small eel--I have a white ribbon eel that must have slid across the body of my pencil urchin, when the urchin's pencils closed in and almost choked the eel--I got the eel loose, but pencil urchin went to the LFS as a trade in.

As long as the fish that you keep are piscivorous; i.e. lionfish, some groupers, frogfish, etc.... Most triggerfish, puffers, porcupinefish are all hard shell animal eaters. Moray eels are risky but it depends on the species. I know that Chainlink and Snowflake morays eat crustaceans. The morays with the longer non-serrated teeth generally eat fish and cephalopods.
