Can you help me trouble shoot?
I have a few things that seem to indicate problems in my tank:
1)blastos and one (of four separate) frogspawn have been semi-closed for about 3 days
2)both RBTAs are on the move as of today
3)fish seem to be fighting more than normal (clown pair esp.)
4)cyano.....
Two of the problems I know of - I had forgotten to change my chemi-pur (past the recommended usage - I think it says 6 months on the bag and I had it in for about 8). I took it out last night and replaced it with a small bag of carbon in the filter sock. Second problem is just as of last night and is maybe (?) the cause of the nems moving - my SG dropped during my 10%WC. My made-up saltwater was a little low (1.020), but I decided to go ahead and change any way since something seemed to be wrong. The SG was 1.025 yesterday, today it is 1.023 - oops. I plan on topping off with SW until it rises back up. Here are my params (at least the ones I have tests for):
temp: 78.4
SG: 1.023
Ca 430
KH 8.2
NO3 .5
Thanks!!
